3 Easy Everyday Habits To Help You Achieve Happiness woman happy

Happiness is a feeling that we all desire. If we could be happy every single day of our lives, we would never have anything to complain about. We would be smiling from ear to ear without a care in the world. Unfortunately, life doesn’t work that way. Good things will happen and bad things will happen and we just have to learn to deal with them. In today’s blog post, I will be discussing 3 easy everyday habits to help you achieve happiness so you can rock out and start living your best life. It’s important that you experience genuine happiness because that alone can really improve your quality of life.

When I say happiness, I’m not talking about hanging out with friends and doing fun things. I’m talking about genuine happiness from within. I want you as a person to be happy without needing someone to make you happy. I want you to be happy because you are confident in yourself and love who you are. That is what it’s all about; everything else is just a bonus.

3 Easy Everyday Habits To Help You Achieve Happiness

1. Practice Gratitude

Practicing gratitude allows you to focus and appreciate the good in your life and reminds you about the great things all around you. It also allows you to recognize those who bring goodness into your life. It humbles you in order to give credit to those you are grateful for. An important thing to remember is to express your gratitude to yourself. Can you think of some things that you value about yourself?

A few things I value about myself are:

  • My relationship with God.
  • How I stand up for what I believe in.
  • My ability to help others effortlessly.

To be more consistent in practicing gratitude, I recommend you purchase a gratitude journal. You can check it out here. I have the same one and I love it. It just reminds me that I have so much to be grateful for. It’s really helpful when I have a bad day because I just go back and read some of the things I wrote to lift my mood.

2. Recite Affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements or phrases that you say about yourself. In fact, I love affirmations and I say them in my head all the time especially when my anxiety is triggered. Reciting affirmations can help you form a more positive attitude which can bring you happiness. The more you start to boost yourself up, the less you’ll worry about irrelevant things. It doesn’t matter which way you do it either. You can write them down, say them in your head, or say them out loud. It’s your choice girl!

And what’s so good about affirmations is that there are SO many for several different things such as mental health, careers, confidence, self-love, etc. If you don’t know where to start just yet, say no more!

Repeat after me: I am worthy. Beautiful. I am strong. I am enough.

See where I’m going with this? And when you’re consistent with affirmations, your brain actually starts to believe them and you’ll be feeling good about yourself all the time.

3. Listen To Positive Podcasts

A podcast is an audio file that you can download or stream on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Similar to TV shows, podcasts are often released by seasons consisting of episodes, which vary in length from thirty minutes to an hour, depending on the topic. This form of audio communication provides a platform that makes it easy to produce a wide variety of content. People love to talk, and others love to listen to those people talk, especially when it is a topic that they are really interested in.

Podcasts are great to turn to when you really need some positive vibes. Imagine listening to someone speak motivationally and encouraging to where it makes you want to get up and do something spontaneous. I truly believe they make a positive impact on several lives, including mine. The best time to listen to a podcast is in the morning in my opinion. I say that because it’s when you first wake up and you’ll get some positivity to start the day off right.

Here are some podcasts that I listen to and think you will love:

Each podcast can be found on several different platforms!

You Will Achieve Happiness

Life might knock you down every once in a while, sometimes often, but you just have to keep getting back up. Don’t let anything disrupt your peace and happiness. For a long time, I used to let certain things ruin my happiness and keep me down. Luckily, I am living a much happier life now and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

It is time for you to be happy my friend and only you can do something about it. And of course, I am always here for endless love and support. In fact, if you think you may need more than what this blog post is offering, I suggest you check out my 1:1 private coaching program.
