You’re losing focus because the pain is running deeper than normal. But please try to remain strong and trust in God. Every time you turn around, there is something bad occurring, constantly tearing you down. It happens frequently. You’re starting to question everything — you’re not really sure if the little good that does happen in life, is really meant to be. Then eventually you run off to thinking about the things that previously occurred in your life. Not understanding why you deserved any of those events that took place in your life.
Distancing yourself not because you want to, but because you don’t feel safe. Of course, it is only sometimes but you’re still scared. You already have these horrible trust issues so you can’t take any type of dishonesty or disloyalty from anyone right now. So instead, you just keep to yourself. You’re reaching a breaking point and it’s pretty dreadful and silent.
Nobody knows what is going on because you don’t want any sympathy. You don’t feel like hearing someone state the obvious. You rather just keep it all to yourself and hope each day gets easier.
Remain Strong and Trust in God. Don’t Give Up
You should pick your head up. Look around.. notice the things you have and the loved ones that are still around. I know it is hard but don’t lose focus on everything. Keep going. Cherish every moment you have with a loved one. God has given you more than enough strength to fight your toughest and biggest battles and you may never realize this.. and that is okay. I get like that sometimes too. Appreciate your life right now. Just think… It could be a lot worse and you are not the only one who is having a tough time in life right now. Appreciate the little things. Live in the moment.
Anything can happen and cause things to change within a blink of an eye. I promise.. you will get through this, just like you get through everything else. This storm will not last forever and you will have your sunshine again. Just stay strong!
It’s important to maintain your mental health when undergoing a tough battle in life. Just practice a little self-care, such as: going to the gym, having an at-home spa day, meditating, hanging out with friends, writing, donating to charity, going on a long walk, etc. Staying busy can sometimes help occupy our minds and keep them from dwelling on the bad.
Those are some things that I like to do. It may not fully take away the emotional pain, but it does help with making me feel good inside which prevents me from going to a dark place. Even something as simple as lighting a scented candle. I’m a bit obsessed with candles. You just have to find something that you can do to keep your spirits up. And I hope you find it soon. <3
You’re blessed. We are all blessed – Remember that!
